Investment Management

Gersh has long term investment management mandates, most notably with Supalai PCL, a well-regarded and successful SET-listed Bangkok based real estate development company. We have introduced and fostered long term relationships with leading Australian residential property developers, including Stockland, Mirvac, Satterley Property Group and Peet Limited.

In December 2023, Gersh facilitated Supalai’s joint venture with Stockland to acquire Lendlease’s master planned communities portfolio for $1.3billion (subject to regulatory approval).

Gersh represents capital partners in three Joint Ventures with Peet: Eden’s Crossing, a 1,100 lot residential subdivision in Redbank Plains, Queensland, Elavale, a 1,040 lot residential subdivision in Eglinton, Western Australia and Newhaven, a 1754 lot residential subdivision in Tarneit, Victoria.

In 2016, Gersh facilitated a Joint Venture with ICD at Gen Fyansford, a 115 hectare residential land subdivision and mixed use precinct close to central Geelong, Victoria.

In 2023 Gersh facilitated Supalai’s Joint Venture with Stockland to purchase Lendlease’s Masterplanned Communities Portfolio for $1.3b., subject to regulatory approval. The portfolio of estates across NSW, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia contains a total 27,600 housing lots. Queensland accounts for three-fifths of the opportunity, with 16,620 lots across four estates at Springfield Rise (1160 lots), Yarrabilba (10,400), Shoreline (2760) and Kinma Valley (2300). Victoria is the second-largest portfolio, comprising 5910 lots across four communities at Atherstone (1710), Aurora (1110), Harpley (1720) and Averley (1370). NSW offers 4100 lots across two communities at Figtree Hill (1320) and Calderwood Valley (2780), while WA has two smaller communities at Alkimos Beach (760) and Alkimos Vista (250).

In 2014 Gersh facilitated Supalai’s joint venture with Satterley at Arcadia, an 1,800 residential lot subdivision in Officer, Victoria. Supalai has since joined Satterley in projects at Ridgeview (600 lots in Narangba, Queensland), True North (1,400 residential lots in Greenvale, Victoria) and Seaside (1,640 residential lots at Madora Bay, Western Australia)

In 2014 Gersh facilitated and participated in a joint venture with Moremac to acquire and develop 1,150 residential dwellings and dwelling sites over 70 hectares in Donnybrook, Victoria. Gersh also acts as component of the development manager for this project.

Gersh is a principal investor, investment manager and development manager in a partnership at Brunswick Yard, 122 premium apartments in Brunswick, Victoria.

MALEELA AVE, KEW

Gersh originated this project, securing off-market this prime 4000sqm site in blue chip Kew, Melbourne. Chapter Group is the developer of this site where Gersh is a principal investor and investment manager. The project will deliver around 35 premium apartments by 2026.

Kinbrook, Donnybrook

In 2014 Gersh facilitated and participated in a joint venture with Moremac Property Group to acquire and develop 1,150 residential dwellings and dwelling sites over 70 hectares in Donnybrook, Victoria. Gersh also acts as component of the development manager for this project.

Edenville, Corio

In 2022 Gersh commenced a Joint Venture with Sivasli Group at Corio, Victoria. Edenville is proposed to deliver around 120 dwellings over three hectares.

Development Management

Gersh performs selective assignments in the built form space, often for ventures that are also our principal investments. Currently, Gersh is the development manager responsible for Brunswick Yard and Balmoral Quay, totaling over $350m end value.
